Scansource adds GE Security Briefs

GREENVILLE, S.C.-ScanSource Security, a sales unit of ScanSource, Inc., and distributor of electronic security products, has added GE Security to its line card. ScanSource Security will provide the company's broad line of security solutions to its dealer partners. ScanSource called GE Security an industry leader in the development of innovative, reliable security solutions, enabling ScanSource Security's dealer partners to have a wide range of options when looking for high-quality, easily managed security solutions for most any application, from education to government to retail. "GE Security is excited to add ScanSource to its list of distribution partners, as they offer us an avenue to reach value-added resellers and IT professionals that we currently do not have access to," said Tom Minerich, distribution sales manager, GE Security, in a statement. "We expect this relationship to assist us in building a better distribution model to sell IP-related security products."
