Seimens looks to West

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill.--Seimens Building Technologies announced yesterday the appointment of George West as senior vice president and division head of its security systems business.
West replaces Alan Calegari, who left the full-service security company in October after serving in the position for a year.
In his new role, West will direct growth and market strategies for Seimens' U.S. security solutions and services business.
With Siemens for 11 years, West most recently managed the New England district. He is credited with growing the building automation, fire safety and security systems businesses. West worked for Johnson Controls for 10 years before joining Seimens.
