Siemens makes talent acquisitions

BUFFALO GROVE, Ill.—Siemens Industry, Inc., Building Technologies Division, on July 1 announced the hiring of Grant Barnes, Chris Payne, and Taylor Carr as national business development managers within the company's Security Solutions Business Unit.
Barnes has joined Managed Security Services. Prior to joining Siemens, Barnes worked for NetVersant Solutions as regional sales director where he developed a strategic account team for converged technology sales and was responsible for P&L management.
Payne has joined Integrated Security Solutions. Prior to joining Siemens, Payne held a variety of executive management positions with System Development Integration (SDI). Since 1996, he has held roles of increasing responsibility, including managing director, chief operating officer and airport and seaport industry executive.
Carr has joined the Southeast U.S. division. Carr has been with Siemens since 2008 as a Security Solutions sales executive in Maryland. Prior to joining Siemens, Carr was a national accounts executive with FireKing Security Group, where he was responsible for business development and sales strategy and execution on a national level. He began his career in the security industry with Target Corporation in their asset protection division.
