Stanley Security Solutions inks contract with Colo. energy infrastructures

INDIANAPOLIS--In October, Stanley Security Solutions was awarded a security contract called the Enterprise Wide Security Enhancements project with the city of Colorado Springs, Colo.
Under the three-year contact, the access control and security solutions company will design, develop, install and service a suite of integrated access control security solutions for energy infrastructures throughout the city.
The city of Colorado Springs conducted a vulnerability assessment and the company then provided an engineering and design plan for approximately 150 utility facilities.
The system enables staff to carry and use a single card for all access points.
"This makes it much easier for everyone in terms of maintenance and operations," said Mark Meisen manager of business development for Stanley Security Solutions.
The project will incorporate surveillance, networking and fiber optics, perimeter site protection and digital video recording for office/warehouse facilities, waste water facilities, distribution sites as well as electronic and gas plants.
