Sticky bundle for LOUD

Sticky bundle for LOUD New program adds service revenue and stickiness for regional security company

KENNESAW, Ga.—LOUD Security is three months into its trademarked Life Safety Facility Manager program, adding service revenue and new “stickiness” to its commercial customer base, company owner and president John Loud told Security Systems News.

The company has bundled inspections and certifications of fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems and more and included camera cleanings in its package.

“Now you don't have to call the electrician or your extinguisher guy. You can get everything certified, and we oversee all those programs,” Loud said, adding that customers can still use an individual inspector if they want as part of the plan.

Loud said that when he saw that Comcast, Google, AT&T and other new entrants in the industry were bundling similar services, he decided to be proactive in that area as well.

“My R&D is rip off and duplicate,” he said.

The program not only creates additional RMR, he said, but “this is how I create stickiness,” he said. “We will become the provider of choice.”

With its one-stop shopping impact, the bundling is convenient for busy residential facility managers, he said.

Meanwhile, Loud said, he has more acquisitions in the pipeline, continuing the company's path to expansion.

Security Systems News will continue to follow LOUD's acquisition plans.

Based in the metro Atlanta area, LOUD currently has customers in 15 states and employs about 60.
