Sting Alarm acquires Shield Fire and Security

LAS VEGAS – Sting Alarm announced the acquisition of Las Vegas-based residential and commercial company Shield Fire and Security.
Founded in 2009 by John Verville, Shield Fire and Security provides its customers with the highest-quality safety and security solutions, Sting Alarm stated in the official release. Sting gains all of Shield’s customers immediately and will begin servicing them during the transition.
“We are pleased to expand our residential and commercial customer base with Shield Fire and Security,” said Jon Perry, Sting Alarm president. “John built a great company at Shield and we are excited for the opportunity to service these new customers into 2023 and the future.”
The acquisition marks Sting’s third in the past six months. Sting Alarm purchased Signal Fire, a Las Vegas fire protection company focused on service excellence, and acquired Nexsys, a commercial alarm integrator in Las Vegas which specializes in the design, installation, and management of security systems for businesses in June and July of last year, respectively.
“These strategic investments with like-minded businesses expands Sting Alarm’s customer base with companies which share the same vision, state-of-the-art products, and a top-notch customer service experience,” the company noted.
