Suspect nabbed by own home security system

HALEDON, N.J.--Willie Cousar, an alleged drug dealer here, was turned into police by his own home security system, the Herald News reported. Cousar's ADT home security system was triggered and automatically notified police. When police came to check out Cousar's single-family home in a tree-lined suburban neighborhood, no one was home, but they found evidence of a drug-dealing operation. "Money was virtually everywhere," the report said, "lying out on the family room floor, in duffel bags plastic bags, and book bags." Police confiscated $548,000--the largest seizure of money in Passaic County history-- from Cousar's home and vehicle. Cousar was later arrested and was being held at Passaic County Jail. What triggered the home security system to sound is unknown, police said.
