Tri-Ed adds marketing and sales incentives for dealers and end users

WOODBURY, N.Y.--As part Tri-Ed's latest marketing efforts this spring, the distributor unveiled a customer loyalty program and sales incentives for dealers selling security systems. In March, Tri-Ed teamed with XM Satellite Radio to offer a free radio to its dealers' customers with the installation of a security system. The objective of the program will be to provide dealers with a competitive edge, said chief executive officer Steve Roth at the company's ISC West press conference. The Tri-Ed XM Advantage program "allows our customers to combine one of the fastest growing consumer electronics technologies with a state-of-the-art security system, and deliver a higher level of value to the end user," Roth said. Tri-Ed's customer loyalty program rolled out April 1. It is called Great Expectations and rewards customers new and existing with points on every purchase made at locations throughout North America, with bonus points for participating manufacturers' products. Enrollment for the program is free and dealers receive a variety of gifts when they redeem their purchasing rewards points. "The program was designed to reward our loyal customers and provide a better vehicle for suppliers to build their brands," James Rothstein senior vice president said in a statement.
