Verint inks deal with the Montreal Metro

MELVILLE, N.Y. - Verint Systems said it has inked a deal with the Societe de Transport de Montreal to provide its Networked Video Solution, which will be used by surveillance officers for passenger security and crime prevention.
The Societe de Transport de Montreal operates the Montreal Metro, an underground transit system that handles approximately 800,000 passengers per day. In addition, the transit system includes a series of underground walking paths that connect downtown buildings.
