Vicon appointments Robert Wood as NE territory manager

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.--Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of integrated IP video surveillance and access control systems, on May 28 announced the appointment of Robert Wood as Vicon's territory manager for New England, responsible for the states of Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
Wood has spent over 26 years developing long-term business relationships within the security industry, working for various major manufacturers in a sales and support capacity. Most recently, he served as regional sales manager at Honeywell International, where he developed new business opportunities with integrators, architects and engineers and end-users, provided education and training, consulted on system design and specified solutions to meet customers' budgetary and functional requirements.
Prior to Honeywell, Wood was applications engineer of National Accounts at ADT Security Service, where he specialized in supporting the company's integrated systems.
