Virtual Ed Link enters education market Brief

FAIRFIELD, N.J.--Virtual Ed Link, a publicly traded systems integrator, has entered the education security marketplace, announcing in July a purchase order from the Roselle Borough Schools, located in Roselle, N.J. The purchase order includes VRED's Integrated Video Management and Alerting Solution with Real Time Notification upgrade to the base Safety and Security Management System.

The system uses proprietary video analytics to provide clients with a proactive video surveillance system that will automatically send an alert through the portal based on pre-determined criteria.

"Providing an integrated holistic system is one of our main goals at VRED," said Dr. Alan McCartney, COO of Virtual Ed Link, in a statement. "Our system is scalable with the ability to grow without implementing disparate systems that can prove problematic."
