Immix announces new CEO Chris Brown takes reigns as company now operates as a legally separate entity from SureView Systems

TAMPA, Fla.—Immix, a global provider of commercial central station software for remote managed video services, announced that Chris Brown will take over as CEO and will oversee the global business from end-to-end.

The company and its software platform recently rebranded under one name and a new URL: www.immixprotect.com.

Brown takes over as CEO after having served for the past six-plus years as Vice President of the Immix Central Station and Guard Force business units, where he lead a team that was instrumental in maximizing returns and increasing recurring monthly revenue options for both the company and its customers.

With nearly 30 years of experience in the security industry, specializing in the operational success of high-growth companies, Brown formerly served as Co-Owner / Vice President at CheckVideo, where he revamped the company’s strategic vision and go-to-market strategy. Previously, he was senior vice president of Operations for Iverify, where he directly managed solution R&D, system design, installation, service, core infrastructure deployment and the video monitoring center with a staff of over 200 operators.

“I am deeply honored and excited to be entrusted with this position in a company that for the last 18 years has led the way in enabling its clients to deliver RMR through remote video and event-based monitoring. The organization has an unwavering passion for the success of its partners and employees,” said Brown. “We have experienced a tremendous level of growth over the past few years and today operate in over 38 countries. The shift to rebrand as Immix and unify the US and European operations as a single entity, I feel will enable us to streamline both the product and our support team to assist our customers in meeting the challenges they face today and accelerate their growth and succeed using the Immix platform.”

Reflecting the new brand initiative, Brown plans to reinforce the company’s mission to enable teams and products to work effectively together, respond faster, and unlock opportunities for achieving better security outcomes. Immix supports any organization that runs a proprietary or third-party commercial central station or monitoring center servicing commercial, residential or enterprise customers.

Immix puts everything into a single-pane-of-glass, including alarms, cameras, video streams, SOP’s, and mapping, giving users an immediate and comprehensive view of every security event presented in the platform. Immix tracks everything an operator sees, says and does in the background for investigations, auditing, compliance, and debriefing.  It is the most widely used platform for managed and monitored video services in the industry.

“Last year we completed some major upgrades to the Immix platform, with the addition of HTML5 for Flash replacement, speed enhancements, SaaS integrations and more–all designed to make the product faster, lighter and more robust, providing greater flexibility to adapt to different customer needs,” Brown continued. “This year we are continuing that effort with the development of a new mobile app, as well as a new solution called Immix AI Link, designed to dramatically reduce false and nuisance alarms and enhance operational and cost efficiencies for our customers. These new initiatives along with the sustained growth we are seeing with our still relatively new Guard Force product, have us primed to deliver tremendously impactful tools that will make a meaningful difference to our customers and the remote video security industry.”
