Alarm companies refuse to pay bills for false alarms in Flint

FLINT, Mich.—Alarm companies are refusing to pay nearly $134,000 in bills to the city of Flint for police response to false alarms, according to an article from The Associated Press. The Burglar and Fire Alarm Association of Michigan is fighting the policy that bills an alarm company directly as opposed to the customer, the article said.
