360 Privacy names former secret service official as SVP of enterprise security ops

BRENTWOOD, Tenn.—360 Privacy has appointed former U.S. Secret Service official George L. Sax as senior vice president of enterprise security operations, adding a veteran security executive as the company continues to expand its leadership team. 

Sax joins 360 Privacy after serving as chief security officer of a global security firm. He previously spent more than two decades with the U.S. Secret Service, where he rose to deputy assistant director in the Office of Investigations.

According to the company, Sax will help guide security operations as organizations face increasingly interconnected cyber, physical and reputational threats fueled by the exposure of personal data.

During his Secret Service career, Sax oversaw a global investigative mission spanning 161 offices and more than 2,800 personnel focused on financial and cyber-enabled crime. He also served as special agent in charge of the Dignitary Protective Division, directing security operations for visiting heads of state and major national events, including presidential inaugurations and United Nations General Assembly sessions.

Earlier, Sax served on the Presidential Protective Division, where he was responsible for protecting the president and first family.

Following his government service, Sax led executive protection, investigations, consulting and intelligence functions as chief security officer and senior vice president of a worldwide security firm, working with Fortune 500 companies and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
