ASSA ABLOY acquires U.S.-based Metal Products Inc.

STOCKHOLM—ASSA ABLOY has announced the acquisition of Metal Products Inc. (MPI), a U.S.-based manufacturer of custom-made hollow metal doors and frames.

Founded in 1980, MPI has approximately 170 employees. Its main office and factory are located in Corbin, Ky.
MPI’s sales for 2024 amounted to about MUSD 22 (approx. MSEK 230) with a good EBIT margin. The acquisition will be accretive to EPS from the start.
