MONUMENT, Colo.—Connected Technologies has expanded its channel footprint through new partnerships with manufacturer’s representative firms SRREP and REPWORKS, a move aimed at increasing market reach for its Connect ONE cloud-hosted security management platform.
SRREP, based in Mount Vernon, Ohio, and REPWORKS, headquartered in South Hadley, Mass., will represent Connected Technologies across key regions, supporting sales efforts and engagement with integrators, consultants and distribution partners.
Under the agreement, SRREP will cover Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia. REPWORKS will focus on Upstate New York and the New England states. Both firms bring decades of experience in the physical security, low-voltage and audiovisual markets.
Focus on expanding dealer and integrator access
Connected Technologies said the partnerships are intended to broaden awareness of its Connect ONE platform and provide greater access to dealers and integrators seeking unified, cloud-based security solutions.
“These partnerships will expand awareness of Connect ONE and help more dealers and integrators access the platform and its expanding portfolio of integrated technologies,” said Dan Simon, technical director of Connected Technologies.
The company’s Connect ONE platform is designed to integrate with existing infrastructure, enabling users to manage access control, video, intrusion, fire and environmental systems through a single interface. By unifying systems, the platform aims to improve visibility while reducing the need for costly system replacements.
Regional expertise supports growth strategy
Both SRREP and REPWORKS emphasized their existing relationships with integrators, consultants and end users as a key advantage in supporting Connected Technologies’ expansion.
Dave Scheer, president of SRREP, said the firm plans to focus on integrators already working with manufacturers that integrate with Connect ONE.
“We know which of our security integrators use the manufacturing partners integrated with Connected Technologies,” he said. “We will focus on these dealers to give them a solution for managing those various security manufacturers from one platform.”
Scheer added that the company expects the platform’s ability to simplify system management to resonate with dealers and end users alike.
REPWORKS President Bryndis Curtin said the firm’s approach will center on hands-on engagement across the channel, including direct support for integrators and consultants working to deploy new technologies.
“For a growing company like Connected Technologies, that means boots-on-the-ground engagement with integrators, consultants and distribution - along with the hands-on support needed to move projects forward and close business,” she said.
Cloud and managed services drive demand
Curtin also pointed to broader industry trends shaping demand for platforms like Connect ONE, including the growing emphasis on scalability, remote management and recurring revenue opportunities.
“As the market continues to shift toward cloud-based and managed solutions, we’re helping our partners position platforms like Connect ONE to meet evolving customer expectations,” she said.
