Cypress adds Farpointe products to lineup

LAPEER, Mich. — Cypress Integration Solutions has recently launched a partnership with Farpointe Data to add its products to the lineup of Cypress access control solutions.
Cypress’ product line now includes Farpointe’s mobile-ready, smartcard and proximity readers in Wiegand or OSDP versions; mobile, smartcard and proximity credentials; and long-range receivers and transmitters.
“We at Cypress focus on providing quality solutions for problems arising during the access control planning and installation process. Now we can quickly supply customers with the quality products they need every day, at a fair price,” said Cypress VP Jon Uren. “Our trust and respect for Farpointe is based on a long working relationship, and we are excited to partner with them.”
Additionally, Cypress is pre-configuring a bundle with a Farpointe OSDP reader and a Cypress OSDP-Wiegand Panel Interface. The Cypress ROK-Solid Security Retrofit OSDP Kit is factory-shipped with OSDP Secure Channel enabled, right out of the box, using randomly generated keys.
