EAGL partners with OmniQ combining technologies

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – EAGL Technologies Inc. has joined forces with OmniQ Corp. to offer a single solution in order to protect schools, hospitals, cities, and businesses.

The solution brings together EAGL’s indoor and outdoor gunshot detection sensors and the EAGL Emergency Event Management Platform to work in tandem with the OmniQ Shield Platform license plate reader. Together, in the event of a gunshot, EAGL’s Firefly and Dragonfly sensors can pinpoint the location. If the shots were fired from a vehicle in a drive-by shooting, the vehicle recognition information from Q Shield combined with the EAGL firearm and location data gives actionable information in seconds to on-site security and law enforcement.

“The Q Shield Platform combined with the EAGL technology provides an early warning system that can instantly increase awareness of unauthorized people or vehicles on-site. Extra seconds and minutes can make all the difference in the world when it comes to safety,” said OmniQ Director of Sales, Bill Fisher.

“The OmniQ – EAGL solution is providing our end users with two very sophisticated technologies that can identify a potential threat immediately by using the license plate and vehicle recognition as well as alerting building occupants and E-911 within seconds for any potential active shooter threat detected,” said EAGL Jennifer Russell, SVP of EAGL Technology. “This combined solution will be especially useful in identifying vehicles involved in drive-by shootings.”
