SAN FRANCISCO — Glide Identity, a digital identity security company, has launched its flagship authentication products, Magical Auth and SuperPasskey, at Authenticate 2025.
The company says its platform is the first SIM-anchored, cryptographically based identity layer designed to protect against AI-enhanced fraud while keeping authentication and verification effortless for users. Instead of sending codes via text or email, Magical Auth leverages the private key that exists in every cellphone that telcos across the world have already distributed to more than 5 billion people to produce cryptographic proof of device possession and bind identity coupled with network signals to protect from SIM Swap, Device Swap and Number recycling. SuperPasskey builds upon Magical Auth by adding FIDO2 passkeys and verifiable credentials for a non-phishable experience across login, step-up and recovery — designed both for humans and AI agents.
“Traditional authentication methods will soon become obsolete,” said Eran Haggiag, CEO and founder of Glide Identity. “AI has become the ultimate hacking tool, making anything that isn’t cryptographically protected vulnerable to attack. We're facing a future where millions of AI agents could be deployed to steal money and compromise accounts at an unprecedented scale. We as a society have a narrow window to upgrade our identity infrastructure, which requires collaboration across the telecommunications, technology and financial services industries in every country.”
Glide’s product roadmap is supported by its recent Series A funding round, which raised over $20 million from investors including Crosspoint Capital Partners, Amigos Venture Capital, Singtel Innov8 VC, Sir Ronald Cohen and Fidelity International Strategic Ventures. Payment companies, banks, and fintechs are actively piloting the technology, now available in beta in the U.S. and launching general availability in Q1.
