Gordon Hope to receive Lippert Award at SIA Honors Night

NEW YORK—Honeywell's Gordon Hope and Microsoft's Mike Howard will be among those honored at the Security Industry Association's (SIA) Honors Night, Wednesday, Nov. 19. The event, which will take place at The Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City, starting at 6:30 p.m., is part of the ISC East.

Hope, general manager for Honeywell's AlarmNet, is receiving this year's Lippert Award. “Hope was chosen to receive the award by a unanimous vote of former winners,” according to a prepared statement by SIA.

SIA will also present the Jay Hauhn Excellence in Partnerships Award at this event, honoring Mike Howard, Chief Security Officer of Microsoft, and Tom Cellucci, Chairman and CEO of Cellucci and Associates with this award.

Paul Mecurio will serve as the evening's emcee. Mecurio received an Emmy and a Peabody Award for his work on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. His past work includes appearing in his own Comedy Central Special, starring in his own series on HBO, and appeared on dozens of television programs.
