HAI to provide products for home integrator training

May 22, 2003 NEW ORLEANS, La. - HAI is taking part in a home technology integrator training program being offered by the Cisco Learning Institute, a non-profit center designed to train and certify contractors working with technology in the home. Products from HAI, an automation and security product manufacturer based here, will be used in the program in order to help illustrate different components of a home network. HAI's products will be used in the course that covers standards-based cabling infrastructure, computer networking systems, video distribution systems, telephone distribution, audio systems, security systems and home automation systems. Other manufacturers that are participating include Agilent, Leviton and Blue Lab. The program is a 40-60 hour course offered at the community college and private technology school level across the country to prepare students for CompTIA's Home Technology Integrator certification.
