Identive selected access control standard for U.S. Homeland Security agency

SANTA ANA, Calif. and ISMANING, Germany—Identive Group, a provider of solutions and services for the identification, security and RFID industries, has been selected by a U.S. federal agency within the Department of Homeland Security to implement its Hirsch-branded access control and security management systems, according to a company statement.

The solution will be implemented at the agency's more than 200 locations nationwide.

“We have collaborated with the DHS agency over the last several years to develop the right combination of software, equipment and services to address the varied requirements of dispersed locations,” Lars Suneborn, director, government & standards, Identive Management & Cloud Solutions division, said in the statement. “The success of this effort and the trust it has engendered were key to the agency's selection of Identive's security systems nationwide.”
