Iris ID hires Seyit Ali Kaya as new regional manager

CRANBURY, N.J.—Iris ID, a leading provider of iris recognition technology, announced that Seyit Ali Kaya has joined the company as the regional manager for operations in Turkey, surrounding countries and Eastern Europe. He is responsible for sales to the Turkish government and other large enterprise projects and raising the brand's awareness and value in the region.

Kaya has more than 15 years of executive experience in sales, marketing and business development in Turkey and Central Asia, working for a company providing channel management experience in biometrics, digital analytics technologies, communications and retail solutions.

Kaya’s experience with biometrics, digital technology and consumer electronics will allow Iris ID to expand its business in the Turkish market. Previously, he worked in the region for high-tech multinational corporations, including the SAS Institute, Hewlett-Packard, and Turkcell. He managed various significant projects from government, defense, and large enterprises.

Kaya graduated from Middle East Technical University and earned his MBA degree in business administration from Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey and is completing a Micro-Master of Science degree in digital technology and digital leadership from Questrom School of Business at Boston University.
