ISS expands SecurOS UVSS line with four versions, performance upgrades

WOODBRIDGE, N.J.—Intelligent Security Systems (ISS) has expanded its SecurOS UVSS (under‑vehicle surveillance system) product line, rolling out four solution tiers and adding processing, speed and artificial intelligence (AI) enhancements aimed at a broader range of security environments.

The updated lineup includes SecurOS UVSS Essential, Pro, Elite and Mobile, allowing customers to select systems based on site size, throughput requirements and deployment needs.

The Essential version is designed for single‑lane checkpoints and replaces manual inspections with automated undercarriage imaging. The system supports vehicle speeds of up to 9 mph and can be upgraded with optional features such as 3D magnification, automated image comparison and AI‑based foreign object detection.

The Pro version supports up to three synchronized checkpoints and vehicle speeds up to 22 mph. It adds standard 3D imaging, automatic undercarriage comparison and marking of suspicious areas, with optional integrations including AI foreign object detection, driver cameras, facial recognition software and automated cleaning. ISS said the system supports failover clustering and third‑party integrations.

Built for large, high‑security installations, SecurOS UVSS Elite supports an unlimited number of checkpoints, vehicle speeds up to 30 mph and continuous 24/7 operation with failover clustering. The Elite version includes all Pro features and supports optional driver cameras, facial recognition and automated cleaning.

ISS also introduced SecurOS UVSS Mobile, a portable version designed for temporary or rapidly deployed checkpoints. The mobile system is housed in transportable cases and offers the same imaging resolution and AI analytics as fixed installations.

Across all versions, ISS said it has increased processing performance to as much as 1,000 frames per second, improved image stitching quality and enhanced AI detection of foreign objects. The platform also supports updated checkpoint workflows and expanded enterprise functionality.

“These updates are focused on enabling faster, more accurate and more reliable vehicle inspections,” ISS CEO Aluisio Figueiredo said.
