LOUD Security Systems promotes Eric Widner to chief operating officer

KENNESAW, Ga.—Security solutions provider LOUD Security Systems has announced the promotion of Eric Widner to chief operating officer.

Widner most recently served as general manager and will now oversee companywide operations during a period of significant growth and transformation for the organization.

The promotion comes at a pivotal moment for LOUD, as the company continues to expand through strategic acquisitions, workforce growth and infrastructure investment, including the development of a new corporate headquarters and the addition of a second regional location in Warner Robins.

Widner began his career with LOUD in 2003 as a low-voltage technician, entering the industry with no prior security experience and learning the business from the ground up. He was promoted to operations manager in 2006, where he helped strengthen internal processes and support the company’s early growth. In 2015, Widner was named general manager, assuming responsibility for companywide operations and cross-departmental leadership.

As chief operating officer, Widner is positioned to navigate increasing changes in technology and lead the company’s continued growth across both residential and commercial markets.

Founded in 1995, LOUD Security Systems Inc. provides residential and commercial security installation, and monitoring for services such as intrusion, fire, video, water detection, access control and automation. LOUD serves over 13,000 customers and employs over 60 individuals from its offices in Kennesaw and Warner Robins.
