MONI recognized for customer service

DALLAS—MONI announced it has been ranked highest in overall customer satisfaction among home security companies by J.D. Power.

"Customer support and satisfaction have been a primary focus throughout MONI's 20-year history in smart home security and we strive for continual improvement based on customer feedback," Jeff Gardner, president and CEO of MONI, said in a prepared statement. "The J.D. Power ranking is an acknowledgement of MONI's efforts to satisfy every customer in every interaction, and we will continue to provide personalized security solutions and support to each of our valued customers in all that we do."

The inaugural “Home Security Satisfaction Report” found that MONI ranked highly on system reliability, system installation and setup, ease of using the system, clarity of the owner's manual, effectiveness in securing the home and speed of monitoring response.

J.D. Power's 2016 Home Security Satisfaction Report measured overall satisfaction with home security brands among 2,282 customers who purchased a home security system within the past 12 months. Satisfaction was examined across 12 factors: price paid for products/services received; reliability of the system; helpfulness of online support documents; variety of payment options; effectiveness of securing the home; ability to control from various devices (e.g., smartphone, tablet, PC, laptop); speed of monitoring response; system installation and setup; clarity of owner's manual; contact with customer service; ease of using the system; and variety of features.
