Napco aligns with company to serve Middle East Region

April 22, 2004 AMITYVILLE, N.Y. - Napco Security Systems has partnered with another company to start up a sales and marketing facility to serve the Middle East security market. The manufacturer of alarm control panels, access control systems, sensor and other products joined up with Gulf Associates to create Napco Gulf Security Group headquartered in the Dubai Airport Free Zone, United Arab Emirates. The company will sell Napco’s complete line of security products and offer non-competitive and complementary international security products in the region. Richard Soloway, chairman and chief executive officer of Napco, said the company sees a growth opportunity in the Middle East, especially with the heightened security needs of the region. To oversee operations of Napco Gulf Security Group, the company has appointed Yasser N. Sha’aban, a 10-year veteran of the security industry, as managing director. Napco Gulf Security Group will be responsible for marketing, sales, training, product service and warehousing on all Napco products in 22 countries in the Middle East, North Africa, India and Pakistan.
