New Vector COO is industry veteran

PITTSBURGH—Jeffrey Bates has joined Vector Security as chief operating officer, the company announced Nov. 12.
Bates is responsible for all branch functions and operational support.
“We are extremely pleased to have Jeff on board as part of our executive leadership team,” said Pam Petrow, president and CEO, in a prepared statement. “He brings a wealth of knowledge in the security and IT industries, as well as strong business and financial acumen.”
Bates, who holds a bachelor's degree in business management, was previously operations manager at United Technologies. He also served as director of operational excellence at Ingersoll Rand Security Technologies.
