Sentinel names Al Palumbo as Director of Technical Security Consulting

NEW YORK – Security consulting firm Sentinel announced today that security design veteran Al Palumbo has joined the company as Director of Technical Security Consulting.

In the newly created position Palumbo will work with Sentinel’s management and engineering teams and their clients to provide oversight on the technical security elements of Sentinel’s project portfolio. The role would make use of Palumbo’s 30 years of experience in the electrical and electronic industry (23 of which has been dedicated to security design), engineering, and consulting. Additionally, Mr. Palumbo holds degrees and certifications in Automated Manufacturing Engineering, Computer-Aided Design and Drafting, and Technical Writing from Waterbury State Technical College and an E2 Unlimited Journeyman Electrician license from the State of Connecticut.

"I consider myself incredibly fortunate to count myself among Sentinel's exceptional team of security professionals. I look forward to adding value in any way I can." Palumbo said. He described Sentinel as being an organization of integrity and sharing in his passion for the security industry.

Sentinel says the addition of Palumbo highlights their commitment to standardization and consistency as core values underlying its client services. “With every client engagement, our company has always focused on delivering detailed documentation with careful adherence to regulations and standards,” Founder and President of Sentinel, Paul Benne, explains. "Al's contributions will allow us to further distinguish ourselves in this regard and better educate clients and prospects on the unique value we bring. We are fortunate to have found someone as eminently qualified as Al to spearhead this mission."
