Strategic Vista to buy Mansoor Electronics

TORONTO - Strategic Vista International has signed a purchase agreement to acquire the operating assets of Mansoor Electronics for approximately $3.5 million in an all-cash transaction.
The deal is expected to close on Sept. 30.
Through the Mansoor acquisition, Strategic Vista hopes to expand its distribution channel and increase its product range, according to Bernie Klein, Strategic Vista’s chairman and chief executive officer.
Strategic Vista will also acquire rights to Markham, Ontario-based Mansoor’s Home Sentinel brand name, which includes video surveillance products, burglar alarms and video door phones.
Strategic Vista International is the parent company of Strategic Vista Corp. and Digimerge Technologies. Under the Digimerge brand, the company markets digital video security and surveillance products and solutions to installers, system integrators and other security distributors.
