Ubiety, Ivani integrate presence verification and RF activity sensing in Halo devices

CHICAGO — Ubiety Technologies announced a partnership with Ivani in integrating Ivani's sensify technology for advanced activity detection directly into Ubiety's Halo Connect device.

Ubiety stated that this marks the first-ever commercial integration of RF activity sensing and AI-based presence verification in a single plug-and-play device.

“While major players in the security and smart home space have long pointed to the future potential of presence detection, none have moved beyond theory,” the company wrote. “Ubiety and Ivani are the first to make this vision real.”

Thanks to the partnership the integration provides dual-layer presence detection, improved alarm context/experience, and requires no cameras as it provides awareness and privacy without the need for surveillance devices. The platform also features no expensive panel integration and bills itself as a platform for growth –with it being a platform for software-based sensing solutions, providing future improvements via OTA updates.
