Alarm Detection Systems employees assist veterans

AURORA, Ill.—Over 30 employees at Alarm Detection Systems devoted time to make a new Hope for Tomorrow Inc. residential project safe for occupancy, according to a company statement.

Alarm Detection Systems employees installed a state-of-the-art fire safety system at no cost to the nonprofit organization. The newly remodeled housing project is for veterans suffering from war-borne trauma and substance abuse disorders. It is the sixth establishment of its kind serving the Illinois area.

“Veterans, especially, have sacrificed so much to preserve our way of life,” said John Spooner, vice president of Alarm Detection Systems. “It is only appropriate that we help those who need assistance.”
