AT&T Digital Life coming to additional markets

DALLAS—AT&T Digital Life service will be available to customers in six additional markets beginning Nov. 8, AT&T announced this week. With the launch, AT&T's professionally installed and professionally monitored home security/home automation offering will be in a total of 58 markets.

Customers in Bridgeport, Conn., Colorado Springs, Colo., Memphis, Tenn., Mobile, Ala., New Haven, Conn., and Pensacola, Fla. as of this Friday will be able to sign up for the home security and automation service through their existing broadband or wireless phone services, according to a news release.

AT&T announced in October that it had exceeded its goal of introducing Digital Life in 50 markets by the end of this year.

“AT&T remains committed to making Digital Life available to more customers and providing them with easy, fast and affordable ways to control their home security system, virtually anywhere life takes them,” said Kevin Peterson, president of Digital Life, Inc., in a prepared statement.

Digital Life recently earned CSAA Five Diamond Certification, meaning all central station operators have passed the CSAA Central Station training course, achieving proficiency and certification, according to the release.
