BCDVideo expands West Coast presence

NORTHBROOK, Ill.—BCDVideo, a provider of IP security storage systems based here, has partnered with San Lorenzo, Calif.-based Premier IP Video Solutions to represent its IP video server products on the West Coast, according to a company statement.
“We have been looking for the right fit for our West Coast expansion for about a year,” Jeff Burgess, president of BCDVideo, said in the statement. “While it has been one of our strongest growth regions, we also realized we needed 'feet on the street' to better capture more of the market.”
IP Video Solutions is led by 30-year industry veteran Kirk Brown, who most recently served as director of business development for Pivot3, the statement noted.
“After watching BCDVideo's growth over the years, we are proud to be part of a great organization, and a market leader,” Brown said in the statement. “Premier wanted only a top shelf player in the server and storage market, and there is no one better to team up with in the industry.”
