AUSTIN, Texas, and BETHESDA, Md.—Two cloud-native security providers are joining forces with the announcement of the merger of Brivo and Eagle Eye Networks, creating one of the world’s largest AI cloud-based physical security companies.
Brivo is a global provider of cloud-native access control and smart space technologies, while Eagle Eye Networks is a global provider of cloud AI video surveillance.
Dean Drako, chairman of Brivo and founder of Eagle Eye Networks, announced that the merged company will operate under the Brivo name and deliver a truly unified cloud-native security platform.
“Customers will have one support team, one business relationship, and one integrated cloud-native physical security solution,” Drako said. “The Brivo Security Suite brings AI, access control, video intelligence, visitor management, and intrusion into a single solution, centralizing security across the enterprise.”
“The merger cements our leadership position in the market, provides a better solution for our customers, and helps resellers grow their businesses more efficiently,” said Brivo Founder Steve Van Till. “We have shared the same vision and ownership for a decade, so the merger is about aligning operations so we can move faster and provide better service to our customers.”
The merged company will maintain its commitment to an open platform and will continue to support other video and access control solutions.
Going forward, Drako will serve as CEO of Brivo, and Van Till will serve as president. The merged company has U.S. headquarters in Bethesda, Md., and Austin, Texas, and additional offices in Lehi, Utah, Amsterdam, Bangalore, and Tokyo.
