Cypress offers new OSDP Tool Kit to ensure OSDP systems are ready to deploy

LAPEER, Mich.—Cypress Integration Solutions has introduced a new OSDP Tool Kit to ensure OSDP systems are ready to roll out before rolling trucks to customer sites.
The OSDP Tool Kit (OTT-KIT1) is essential for anyone designing and deploying OSDP systems, according to the access control accessory manufacturer.
“We are pleased to supply the industry with this kit,” said Cypress CEO Jon Uren. “Having all these tools in one case simplifies pre-deployment testing so any OSDP system issues can be resolved before installation begins, ensuring optimal performance.”
The kit includes four fundamental tools in a hard-shell case:
- OSDP Cable Test Tool set (OTT-2100-2) in a mini case, for testing existing or new cable to ensure OSDP support
- OSDP Trace Tool Pro Interface (OTT-1100) to see and troubleshoot OSDP messages between the controller and readers, and diagnose OSDP issues before and during field installation
- USB Data Wedge (WDG-6112) for OSDP and Wiegand readers, which can be used as a simple temporary controller for testing readers
- OSDP Hub with pluggable terminal blocks (OSM-HUB) to easily connect and disconnect OSDP equipment.
