SILVER SPRING, Md.—The Security Industry Association (SIA) has named new leadership of the SIA Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP) Technical Subcommittee. Constantine Tremouliaris of ASSA ABLOY has assumed the role of chair, with Jon Uren of Cypress Integration Solutions now serving as vice chair.
In these roles, Tremouliaris and Uren will oversee the expert group made up of access control manufacturers, integrators and end users developing and advancing the SIA Open Supervised Device Protocol - an access control communications standard to improve interoperability among access control and security products.
The OSDP Technical Subcommittee’s responsibilities include acting as the primary editors of the OSDP standard, voting on and approving draft revisions prior to submission to the SIA Standards Committee, coordinating and reviewing research projects related to OSDP, providing technical guidance on issues related to OSDP and addressing requests for interpretation on issues related to OSDP.
Tremouliaris is the manager of alliances and standards at ASSA ABLOY Group, where he focuses on global standards alignment and advancing practical interoperability across access control ecosystems. With a background spanning integrated solutions, low-voltage technologies and security project management, he brings nearly a decade of hands-on industry experience.
A member of the Security Systems News Emerging Leaders Under 40 Class of 2026, Tremouliaris has been an active contributor to industry advancement through his longstanding participation in the OSDP Technical Subcommittee, as well as his service on the SIA RISE Steering Committee, where he currently serves as the 2026 chair of AcceleRISE.
“I’m grateful for the leadership that has brought OSDP to where it is today and look forward to helping guide its next chapter,” said Tremouliaris. “As chair, my priority is to support a collaborative and transparent approach that strengthens interoperability, while ensuring OSDP continues to evolve to meet the needs of the security market—today and as new threats, technologies and use cases emerge.”
Uren is an experienced technology and operations leader with more than 16 years at Cypress Integration Solutions, where he currently serves as president and CEO. Previously, he held roles including vice president and chief operations officer, engineering coordinator and product development engineer, contributing extensively to product innovation, operational excellence and organizational growth throughout his long tenure with the company.
“I’m honored to help lead the OSDP committee into its next chapter,” said Uren. “I’m focused on maintaining the transparency that makes our work successful while pushing for even stronger industry interoperability. Working with the chair, I want to make sure OSDP remains the benchmark for secure communication, evolving proactively to meet the changing demands of the security market.”
“SIA is proud to welcome Constantine Tremouliaris and Jon Uren as the new leaders of the SIA OSDP Technical Subcommittee,” said SIA CEO Don Erickson. “These accomplished and dedicated leaders will bring invaluable expertise, creativity and enthusiasm to the subcommittee’s efforts to improve interoperability among access control and security products. SIA OSDP continues to steadily gain momentum as the standard for secure access control. We thank outgoing chair Tony Diodato and outgoing vice chair Steve Rogers for their service and look forward to collaborating with Constantine, Jon and the subcommittee to build on the group’s success and drive innovation and excellence in our industry.”
