DALLAS—ECAM, an artificial intelligence (AI)-driven live surveillance technology solutions provider, has announced the launch of ECAM Central, an operational intelligence platform designed to give customers real-time visibility into how their video security operations are managed across monitored properties.
The company said the platform allows users to see the full lifecycle of a monitored event - including what triggered a detection, how operators responded, whether deterrence measures were successful and how the incident was ultimately resolved.
“Most organizations that invest in monitored video security have no way to verify what actually happens when an alert occurs,” said Chris Brooks, COO at ECAM. “ECAM Central changes this dynamic by putting the customer inside the operation. Every detection, operator decision and outcome is visible in real time and documented for analytics.”
ECAM Central is intended to address what the company describes as an “accountability gap” in traditional video security deployments, where customers can access footage but have limited visibility into monitoring actions, response times or outcomes.
The platform connects each stage of the managed video security process - detection, verification, deterrence, escalation and resolution - within a single interface. Customers can access the system via web browser or mobile app and receive real-time notifications as events unfold.
In addition to event visibility, ECAM Central includes tools for submitting video review requests, updating monitoring instructions and tracking service cases directly within the platform.
ECAM said the system also provides dashboards and operational metrics that allow customers to analyze security performance, compare activity across sites and make decisions about resource allocation.
The platform includes role-based permissions and filtering options, enabling users to tailor views by account, location or property type.
ECAM, which monitors more than 140,000 cameras across North America, said the platform is available at no additional cost to its monitoring customers in the U.S. and Canada.
