Faulkner to lead Cox Home Security

ATLANTA—Kristine Faulkner has been promoted to vice president and general manager of Cox Home Security and Smart Home, the company announced in a Sept. 5 news release. In part, she will oversee new Smart Home product initiatives.

Cox Home Security offers home alarms with continuous intrusion and safety monitoring, remote access and electronic alerts. Professionally monitored and installed, it is currently available to customers in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island and Virginia; Faulkner will plan rollouts into new markets.

“The majority of people consider home and family their most precious assets,” Faulkner said, in a prepared statement. “There is tremendous opportunity to utilize Cox's existing broadband technology to help connect these customers to what they value most.”

Cox Home Security is a division of Cox Communications.

“Kristine has consistently driven aggressive growth via new product development and execution, helping Cox Business move from $100 million to more than $1 billion in annual revenue,” said Jill Campbell, executive vice president and COO. Faulkner was most recently vice president of new growth and development. She has worked with Cox for more than 13 years.
