ISS’ Matt Powell speaking at Securing New Ground

WOODBRIDGE, N.J. – ISS (Intelligent Security Systems), has revealed that its managing director for North America, Matt Powell, has been selected to speak at next month’s Securing New Ground (SNG) conference in New York City.

Scheduled to take place Oct. 17-18 at the InterContinental Times Square, SNG is a space where executives and entrepreneurs from across the security industry come to network and share information on different technology and business trends that are affecting the market.

Matt PowellISS revealed that Powell’s session is entitled, “What AI Means for your Business,” and will examine the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on security applications and how these effects will be felt by firms throughout the industry within the next two to three years. He will be joined by Hamish Dobson, CVP, Product – Enterprise Physical Security Solutions, Motorola Solutions; Jumbi Edulbehram, Global Business Development, Smart Cities and Spaces, NVIDIA; and, Kurt Takahashi, CEO, Netwatch Group.

“The customers that our industry serves are adopting AI at an exponential rate for all aspects of their businesses.  Answering the question of how to utilize AI in a business, or how to become part of the value chain that is AI, is fast becoming the dominant conversation across every market sector,” explained Powell.  “Our panel draws from a cross-section of the industry, bringing incredible insights based on experience to this important topic. If I were attending and wanting to understand the most important aspects of artificial intelligence and augmented intelligence in our industry, this is a panel I would not want to miss.”
