Mission 500 opens nominations for 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility and Humanitarian Awards

MIAMI—Mission 500, a non-profit charitable organization focusing on the security industry and dedicated to serving children and families in need across the U.S., is now accepting nominees for their 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award and 2022 Humanitarian Award.

The Mission 500 CSR Award honors a company within the security industry that has made a significant contribution to those in need. The judging criteria includes an assessment of applicants’ CSR programs as they relate to effectiveness in helping the communities they focus on, involvement of company personnel, sustainability, and long-term impact of the programs and activities that go beyond financial contributions. The Humanitarian award recognizes an individual that has volunteered their time and efforts to help move Mission 500’s efforts in helping those in need.

Mission 500 is accepting nominations for both the CSR Award and the Humanitarian recipient for 2021. Employees can nominate the company they work for, as well as partner organizations they work with and their colleagues. A judging panel comprised of Mission 500 Advisory Board Members evaluate applicants according to the criteria and their contributions toward social causes. In 2021, the honors went to ADI for the CSR Award, and Ken Gould as the Humanitarian award recipient.

“There have been so many amazing companies and people that went above and beyond last year to help us make sure we were able to continue our mission in such difficult time, that it will be tough for our board to select one winner,” said Tracy Larson, Co-Chairwoman of Mission 500. “We appreciate every sponsoring company and cannot do what we do without our volunteers.”

Entry forms for the Mission 500 2022 CSR and Humanitarian Awards can be downloaded at https://www.mission500.org/awards/ and submitted by February 18, 2022.
