New landlord for Vivint headquarters building

PROVO, Utah—The office building that serves as the headquarters for Vivint was recently sold, according to a news release.
The 125,225-square-foot, two-structure office building was sold by Gardner Company, of Salt Lake City, Utah, to Reit Management & Research LLC, of Newton, Mass. The buyer is a large real estate management company consisting of approximately 1,700 properties, the release said.
The office building, which has 100,000-square-feet of office space, features numerous amenities, including a full-service gym, a food service facility and a medical clinic for employees. The building, constructed in 2009, was featured in Interior Design Magazine and named “Best of the Year 2010” for large office buildings.
“All of these elements, plus having such a stellar, long-term tenant as Vivint, made this an extremely attractive investment for the buyers,” the news release said.
