Panasonic's Taylor elected, Brivo's Van Till re-elected to SIA board

ALEXANDRIA, Va.—The Security Industry Association Board of Directors has seen some elections and re-elections lately. Panasonic System Networks Company of America announced Dec. 9 that its president, Bill Taylor, has been elected to the Board, while Brivo on Dec. 14 announced the re-election of its president and CEO Steve Van Till.
In his capacity as PSNA president, Taylor is responsible for a business unit that offers reliable, affordable and flexible solutions for communication, collaboration, security and office productivity.
“My own plans are to focus more attention on the growing standards movement in our industry, and I know this is a major priority for SIA,” Van Till said. “I have many years of standards-based experience outside of physical security in the IT and telecom markets, and I believe this perspective will be valuable for developing standards for our own industry.”
