Pye-Barker acquires Washington-based Fire Protection Specialists

ATLANTA—Pye-Barker Fire & Safety has acquired Washington-based Fire Protection Specialists, expanding its fire suppression services and strengthening its presence in the Pacific Northwest.
Founded in 1999, Fire Protection Specialists provides installation and service of fire suppression and fire alarm systems across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana and California. Its customer base spans commercial and industrial sectors, including education, utilities, government and healthcare.

The company’s offerings include system monitoring, inspections and testing, as well as fire extinguisher service. It also specializes in clean agent suppression systems designed for high-value environments such as data centers, equipment vaults and medical imaging rooms, along with automatic extinguishing systems for commercial kitchens and heavy mobile equipment.
The acquisition adds suppression capabilities to Pye-Barker’s existing fire alarm and security services in the region.

Fire Protection Specialists’ employees will remain in place following the transaction, continuing to serve customers in the Northwest. Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough, LLP represented Pye-Barker in the transaction.
