YARMOUTH, Maine – Security Systems News (SSN), the leading source of business news and analysis for the security industry, has named Theresa Flaherty as senior editor.

Flaherty brings nearly two decades of editorial leadership and industry reporting experience to the role. Most recently, she served as Managing Editor of HME News, where she led coverage of a highly regulated, rapidly evolving market - focusing on provider strategy, reimbursement, technology adoption and consolidation.

At SSN, Flaherty will play a central role in sharpening the brand’s editorial voice and expanding its coverage of the security marketplace. She will combine hands-on reporting and editing with strategic planning, audience development and brand growth, with a focus on the business drivers shaping integrators, monitoring providers, dealers and technology companies. She will work closely with Editor Cory Harris.
