TP-Link’s VIGI offers new free cloud VMS, solar-powered security, and AI cameras

IRVINE, Calif. — VIGI, TP-Link’s video surveillance brand, has announced an expansion of its smart security portfolio for businesses.
The expanded offerings include a new lineup of AI-powered cameras, a new Outdoor Solar-Powered Security Solution, an upgraded Design Tool, and a free Cloud VMS platform.
These innovations give installers, integrators, MSPs, and resellers smarter tools to reduce costs, simplify deployment, and deliver always-on protection for MDUs, retail, education, and remote with features that include 4K 180° panoramic turret and bullet cameras with red and blue deterrence lights, a 4MP outdoor full-color 4G bullet camera with triple LAN ports, and an AI ISP-powered ColorPro 2.0 turret and bullet cameras.
The solar-powered security solution is equipped with dual 100W panels, automotive-grade lithium batteries, and three DC ports. It powers up to three devices with seven days of backup. Flexible networking options include a 4G outdoor camera with triple LAN ports, a 4G outdoor gateway, or long-range wireless bridges. With IP66 protection, wind resistance up to 99.4 mph, and reliable operation from -22°F to 140°F.
Finally, the VIGI Free Cloud VMS delivers AI-powered, cloud-hosted video management with no licensing fees. Partners can manage multiple locations remotely via the VIGI app, web portal, or PC client while cutting on-site service costs. Features include up to 64-channel live view, event playback, unified event monitoring, map-based views, and multi-user access.
VIGI also launched an upgraded Design Tool that simplifies project planning with multiple floor plan uploads, coverage simulations, and automated proposals, cutting deployment time and costs.
