Vivint announces new VP of operations for Smart Grid Division

PROVO, Utah—Vivint on May 17 announced it has hired Richard Guerra as vice president of operations for the company's Smart Grid Solutions division.
In this position, Guerra will be responsible for developing strategy and logistics for the division's Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Advanced Grid Infrastructure (AGI).
Guerra brings more than 30 years' experience working in the utility industry. Before joining Vivint, he was director of field services for Elster Solutions, one of the leading vendors of AMI and SmartGrid technology, where he was responsible for developing training and support of AMI deployment of the Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI).
