Will-Burt acquires two business lines from Diebold

ORRVILLE, Ohio—The Will-Burt Company, a manufacturer of telescoping mast and tower solutions for surveillance, has acquired LINX Security Solutions, an access control line, according to a company statement. Will-Burt also acquired Diebold's security filing cabinet and vault door business.

Included in the LINX access control business line is its GateMaster, an automated gate entry solution designed to manage the entry of vehicles and pedestrians onto a base or other campus setting. The solution fully integrates devices and data to provide positive identification of entering personnel and visitors, verification of vehicles and automated detection and prevention of unauthorized entry attempts.

“The LINX security solution products are a natural extension of Will-Burt's fully integrated, elevated security and surveillance solutions it delivers to its Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security customers,” said John Stroia, COO of Will-Burt, and a former vice president of corporate development at Diebold, in the statement.

The LINX line also includes the Predator Elite, a security solution featuring an integrated, multi-tasking, centralized system for access control and intrusion detection.
