PAOLI, Pa.—Zeus Fire & Security (Zeus), a portfolio company of Baltimore-based Access Holdings, has announced the acquisition of Security Government Technology Solutions, Inc. (SGTS).
Based in Madison, Wis., SGTS specializes in advanced security solutions for government and high-security environments including penitentiary and correctional facilities, sheriff departments, and county government buildings.
SGTS will join Martin Systems (Martin), one of Zeus’ regional platforms, further expanding Martin’s portfolio of service offerings while strengthening its capabilities across the Midwest.
“The addition of SGTS represents a major step forward as we continue expanding Zeus’ presence in highly specialized, mission-critical government sectors” said Brandon Ramsey, president and COO of Zeus Fire and Security. “SGTS brings a deep understanding of high-security environments that perfectly complements Martin Systems’ engineered solutions platform. Together, we’re elevating our ability to protect People, Property, and Profits, especially in markets where security and reliability are paramount.”
For more than 20 years, SGTS has delivered complex, technology-driven security infrastructure for detention centers, county facilities, and institutional customers across Wisconsin and surrounding regions. Its capabilities span fully integrated high-security platforms, encompassing electronic security systems, detention control, intercom and paging, camera systems, and access control.
“We are thrilled to welcome SGTS to the Martin Systems family,” said Cory Peters, president of Martin Systems. “Their expertise in government and high-security applications is a perfect complement to our existing capabilities. This partnership strengthens our position across the region, expands the solutions we offer, and further reinforces our commitment to delivering engineered, high-performance security systems for complex environments.”
“Joining Martin Systems and the Zeus family is an exciting opportunity for our employees and the customers we serve,” added Scott Bukolt, president of SGTS. “We’ve always been committed to delivering dependable, high-security solutions for government clients. Partnering with Martin allows us to expand our capabilities, access new technology and resources, and continue building the trusted relationships that define SGTS.”
By integrating SGTS into Martin Systems, Zeus strengthens its government-sector depth, adds highly specialized engineering talent, and expands its presence across Wisconsin and neighboring markets. The partnership enhances Martin’s ability to deliver comprehensive solutions from design and engineering to installation, service, and monitoring backed by the scale and innovation of the Zeus national platform.
