Snap One Control4 Halo remote firmware update enhances capabilities

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Snap One has announced a slate of new features and capabilities for the Control4 Halo and Halo Touch remotes that provide a more streamlined and reliable interface.
Following the over-the-air update to v1.7, all Halo and Halo Touch remotes will gain a redesigned lighting page that offers faster control, longer battery life, improved WiFi stability, access to custom buttons from their system and a “What’s New” page that explains new features on the remote.

Sony announces two 4k IP-based pan-tilt-zoom cameras

PARAMUS, N.J. – Sony Electronics is adding to their lineup of pan-zoom-tilt (PTZ) cameras with two new 4K models with built-in AI analytics.
The new offerings are the SRG-A40 and SRG-A12 models. Sony said that the cameras automatically and consistently track, and naturally frame presenters, regardless of movement or posture.
